Lynn Lafferty, Pharm.D., ND, MBA, CNC, DACBN is a doctor of Pharmacy and licensed pharmacist, naturopath, herbalist, nutritionist and chef who is committed to finding the safest and most effective means to promote health and wellness over disease and illness. She is an Endowed Professor and Assistant Clinical Professor in the NSU College of Pharmacy and has Functional Clinical Nutrition and Herbal Therapy practice in the Nova Southeastern University Clinic Pharmacy. Before this she worked 7 years in the NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine where she put together an Integrative Medicine Department and created the certificate program for Medical Doctors, Osteopathic Doctors, Naturopathic Doctors, Pharmacists, Dentists, and other licensed health care practitioners within the M.S. Nutrition program where she developed 5 courses in Functional Nutrition and Herbal Therapy. She is proud to serve on the boards of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, and the Broward County Commission on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Her research is focused on natural medicine and supplementation therapy and is currently conducting research on Antibiotic Resistance and Natural Immune Builders, Herbal considerations in the elderly populations, discrimination of patients using supplements, and genomics.

Dr. Nadia Malek is a Chiropractic Physician, with over 35 years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors from Long Island University, and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences formerly known as New York Chiropractic College, in 1983.

It all started back in the early 1960’s when my Mom would listen to Carlton Fredericks, a nutritionist on a New York radio station. She ordered vitamins from the Foods Plus Company. Back then there weren’t any stores that sold vitamins. My siblings and I would have bottle caps with five vitamin pills placed next to our knife and fork with breakfast. In adolescence I started reading the labels on foods and found that I could rid acne by eliminating sugar. There were a lot of other ingredients that were hard to pronounce that were said by the radio host to be harmful to health. There was a deep dive into the macrobiotics world in the late teen years and sports nutrition to augment strength training.

Mrs. Patricia Weinert

Pat earned her BA in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University in Michigan. She earned a Master’s in Herbology (MH) from The School of Natural Healing in Utah, after seeing how nutrition and herbal medicine was able to heal her Rheumatoid Arthritis and other health issues without the use of medications.
