Unlocking the Power of Nutrigenomics in Chiropractic Care

Evelyn Higgins, DC

July 24, 2025

In this engaging course, chiropractors will explore the fascinating and in-demand field of nutrigenomics—the study of how genes interact with nutrients—and its practical application in chiropractic care. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how genetic variations can influence nutrient metabolism, inflammation, autophagy, mitochondrial function, detoxification pathways, pain sensitivity, and overall musculoskeletal health. By integrating nutrigenomic principles into clinical practice, chiropractors can enhance their ability to support the body’s natural healing processes and promote individualized wellness.

Laboratory Testing in Nutrition Practice

Frank Driano, DC

July 26-27, 2025

The student will get an understanding of the importance of the lab in patient management. Laboratory testing plays an important role in the nutritional assessment of a patient. It gives the practitioner a baseline of the patient’s overall health and well-being. It allows the healthcare professional to track the progress of the patient’s response to treatment as well as identifying when referral to another health care provider is needed. While this course may be taken independently for relicensure requirements, this course is part of our Functional Clinical Nutrition Diplomate program which meets the requirements to qualify to sit a qualifying examination for the Diplomate of CBCN Board and may qualify for other organizations.
