Mrs. Patricia Weinert

For 30 years, she managed various departments within the AT&T/Bell System, mostly in Michigan, and retired in 2000. She and her husband Bob retired to Lake Oconee, Georgia where she volunteered on the Greensboro, GA Chamber of Commerce Long Range Planning Committee, and was also the Chairman of their new Church Building Committee.

Pat and her husband moved to The Villages, FL in 2006 to be closer to family and assist her parents with health issues. Pat is continuing her natural medicine studies and is helping friends and relatives with health concerns and hopes to train many in her community about the value of nutrition and natural healing.

Dr. John Findlay

It all started back in the early 1960’s when my Mom would listen to Carlton Fredericks, a nutritionist on a New York radio station. She ordered vitamins from the Foods Plus Company. Back then there weren’t any stores that sold vitamins. My siblings and I would have bottle caps with five vitamin pills placed next to our knife and fork with breakfast. In adolescence I started reading the labels on foods and found that I could rid acne by eliminating sugar. There were a lot of other ingredients that were hard to pronounce that were said by the radio host to be harmful to health. There was a deep dive into the macrobiotics world in the late teen years and sports nutrition to augment strength training.
